A few facts about duct tape.

• Was invented by the Johnson and Johnson Company for the military and was an army green color. 
• It was nick named "Duck" Tape because it was waterproof.
• People started using it on ventilation ducts which is when johnson and Johnson changed the color to silver and called it Duct Tape.
• Although you can tear it with your hand if you double it over it can pull a 2000 lbs vehicle.
• The amount of duct tape sold every year can circle the earth at the equator about 12 times.
• Duct tape has three layers: the waterproof plastic out side the woven cloth to distribute stress and the strong rubber stick stuff
